Labor MP Tony Buti and Liberal MP Tony Simpson are leading a group of prominent Perth business people, lawyers and union officials on a Ride Against Domestic Violence cycling event leaving Busselton on Saturday May 27 and finishing in Perth on May 28. Along the way the group will be raising money to help the victims of domestic violence in the region and heightening public awareness.
All net profits from the Ride will go to five women’s refuges on the path of the bike ride to help victims at Starick Services in the South East Metro Region, South West Refuge in Bunbury, Tuart House (Communicare) in Busselton, The Salvation Army Perth Women’s Refuge, Pat Thomas House in Mandurah and Zonta House in Perth.
