The RADV2020 will leave Perth from Parliament House on Friday, 5 June at 10.30am with riders, their bikes and luggage being transported to accommodation at Abbey Beach Resort in Busselton. Riders will attend an evening meal with local members of parliament, local refuge representatives that the ride supports and Busselton Rotary, followed by a rider’s briefing in preparation for the early morning departure.
Saturday 6 June sees the riders depart Busselton from the accommodation at 5.30am, arriving for breakfast at Bunbury. Following breakfast, it is anticipated that riders will arrive at Mandurah. After an evening meal, a rider’s briefing and checking over the bikes, it’s an early night in preparation for tomorrow’s ride.
Sunday 7 June starts out with the first leg of the ride departing at 6.30am to Rockingham. There, breakfast will be enjoyed on the foreshore and then it’s on to the Armadale for morning tea. The final leg of the journey culminates in Perth at the Parliament House finish line, at approximately 1.00pm, with other refuges, supporters, friends, families and a media presence all attending brief thank you speeches to demonstrate their support for the riders and their efforts on the RADV2020.
