In 2018, the Ride Against Domestic Violence will be supporting seven women's refuges: Tuart House (Communicare), The South West Refuge and Pat Thomas House, all in the South West of WA, and Starick House, The Lucy Saw Centre and Zonta House Refuge Association, all in Perth.

It was wonderful to meet with Minister for the Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence Simone McGurk MLA this morning ahead of the launch of the Ride Against Domestic Violence.

The North Perth Community Bank Branch will be entering a team of four to participate in the 2018 ride, which will raise money for a number of refuges throughout WA that provide safe and secure accommodation for women and children escaping domestic violence. The Branch will also be providing transport to the participants of the Ride with the North Perth Branch Community Bus.

The eight teams that will be participating in the Ride Against Domestic Voilence 2018 have been finalised! Each team, comprising of four members, will ride from Busselton to Perth on May 25-27 to raise awareness about domestic violence and to fundraise money, the net profits of which will be donated to seven women's refuges along the route.

YOU can show your support for the cause and support women and their children in these WA areas that have been affected by domestic violence by donating to an individual rider in any of the teams below, OR, you can make a general donation.

Plans for the 2018 Ride Against Domestic Violence are well and truly being set in motion after the RADV Committee met last week to finalise plans for what is going to be a bigger and better ride than the last. How exciting!

Our NEW and updated website is ready for everyone to head on over and take a look at, to share with friends, family and fellow workers, and to check out our 2018 Riders. We have some old faithfuls and some new additions!

Find out what has motivated them to join the ride, the organisations and industries that they represent and most importantly, make sure you click on the DONATE NOW button to support your nominated rider and help them reach their $2,000 target for fundraising.
