Ride Against Domestic Violence
In Australia, a woman dies every week from domestic violence.
Domestic violence has become a scourge of our society with more than a million women a year reporting they had experienced physical or sexual assault by their partners.
Politicians, business leaders and union representatives are are speaking out to raise awareness of the issue led by Labor MLA Dr Tony Buti and Deputy Premier Roger Cook MLA.
To help support victims of domestic violence, a team of cyclists will be making the 250 km journey from Busselton to Perth to raise community awareness of the issue and funds for the victims.
